21-Day Hot Yoga Challenge

Practise daily for a new body, new mind – a new life!


We all have goals. Be it getting in shape, starting a healthy routine, losing weight, alleviating stress, etc. The hardest part to achieving our goals is getting started. When left to our own devices, we’ll often hit snooze and skip… then feel bad later. This is where doing a challenge can help. Practising with the same group of yogis, where they know you and you know them, pulls you to the mat, even when you don’t want to. This works because you know they’re going to be asking about you or calling to see why you’re not on the mat. We practise together and we support each other in the process of achieving our goals. Everyone has different goals and motivations. For some, just finishing the challenge is the goal. For others, finishing the challenge is the first goal that sets the foundation for accomplishing the next goal. Perhaps 21 days sounds like it’s too much? Then start off by committing to 7 or 14 days, or jump right in and commit to 21 days of hot yoga. It won’t be easy, but the results are worth all the sweat. Do it to help yourself – and to help others.

This is an integral programme where techniques are learned, skills are sharpened and the fire of transformation is fuelled. The commitment to practise with the same group of yogi’s over an extended period of time sets the foundation for powerful changes in practice and life. This programme is more than just a regular hot yoga class on the studio schedule. The series also includes daily meditation practices, weekly intentions, inspired journalling/ contemplation exercises, special Sunday practices, as well as asana/sequence explanations to deepen your understanding of yoga.

MINDFULNESS – MEDITATION, we’ve all heard or read something about how mindfulness practice can benefit careers and meditation can lead to less stress, but the question remains – how to do it? 


For most people, the word MEDITATE immediately conjures up a whole slew of fanciful images of great yogis in remote mountain caves, monks sitting stoic on temple cushions, or kung-fu Jedi masters bending the elements to their will.  While these images are exciting and inspiring on the outside, the reality on the inside is more like ‘herding cats’, which has many quit before really getting started.  


This workshop seeks to break down what it really means to be mindful and meditate.  We’ll study how these practices make a measurable difference in life, both on and off the yoga mat.  Together, we’ll explore some simple techniques to get started and cultivate a lasting meditation practice – both at home and on the go.

Hot Hatha : Beyond 26+2

Love Hot Classic, but want to move beyond the fixed 26 poses?  This workshop is for you.  We'll explore variations of all 26 poses as well as other key poses missing in the fixed sequence; like weight bearing poses for the arms and hips.

Fundamentals of Flow

Flow yoga is perfect for new yogis because it traps the mind with contentious invigorating movement we call Vinyasa, however there's a paradox because how can new yogis flow if they don't know the fundamentals of poses and key alignments for safety.  


Fundamentals of Flow will explore the history of vinyasa yoga, evolution of the Sun Salutation, break down the alignments for key poses so practitioners get the most from the practice and reduce the risk of injury.

Tibetan Heart Yoga

Tibetan Heart Yoga is an ancient series of holistic practices that bring together the physical & subtle body, mind and emotions to create a deeply profound yogic experience. Known as the Yoga of Compassion, this practice combines the physical poses we all know and love with a traditional Tibetan Buddhist meditation technique known as the Tong-Len (method for destroying suffering and giving away joy and kindness). These two practices together work to untangle the knots around the heart, opening the heart chakra and allowing for a profound experience of connection, love and compassion for all beings.

Surya Namaskara

Surya Namaskara & The Root of Vinyasa Yoga | A Perfect Mantra for Health, Wealth and Abundance  


The Sun Salutation is so much more than a warm-up for Yoga practice – it IS the Yoga practice. Classic Surya Namaskar is the oldest form of Himalayan Vinyasa Yoga, and is the foundation of which so many popular styles of contemporary Yoga have been built.  However, the secret teachings of this practice hold the real gems to unlock the full potential of Yoga, health, and happiness.

Universal Yoga Mandala

Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning “circle” and represents the Universe.  The pattern within the mandala is usually balanced and harmonized symbolizing how we are all connected and part of the wider universe.  Mandala Yoga is a method of practice organized by Master teacher Andrey Lappa, founder of Universal Yoga, and consists of bringing together all the key elements of traditional Eastern yoga practices into one ultimate experience. Traditionally, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of practitioners, as a spiritual tool, for establishing a sacred space, and as an aid to meditation.  Mandala Yoga follows these same intentions, using yoga postures, transitions, breath-work, chants, and visualizations to build a balanced practice inside and out.

The Art of Movement dissects the body and yoga asana based on bio-mechanics; analysing poses based on their intended effect.  This workshop takes a modern look at an ancient practice to understand how and why poses work and what we can do as practitioners to get the most from our practice.

• How to cultivate a balanced practice: body, mind, & spirit

Art of Sequencing

Ever wonder why some classes can leave you feeling amazing, while others don’t?    


The Art of Sequencing workshop explores how to sequence classes to achieve desired results.  All yoga is good yoga, but not all sequences or class styles are ideal for all practitioners.

• Building up to a peak experience
